Delivery Standards for Regulated First Aid Qualifications

The Delivery Standards for Regulated First Aid Qualifications are agreed nationally by the First Aid Awarding Organisation Forum and the Health and Safety Executive. These standards set out requirements such as the duration of training, certification, resource requirements and learner to trainer ratios.

Industry experts and the Health and Safety Executive have agreed on these standards to ensure that sufficient time and resources are provided when training and assessing those who undertake the life-saving role of the first aider.
